8:45-10:45 Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) This 2-hour program is designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by Texas State University to provide all civilians with knowledge that will empower and instill confidence to survive an active shooter attack whether at work, church, the movie theater or anywhere else they may be. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues and considerations for conducting drills.
11:00-1200 US Coast Guard Sector Northern New England – Topics will include Critical Infrastructure assets along the Piscataqua River, security measures, inspections of vessels coming from overseas, assets available for response to natural and man-made incidents.
